Sunday Mornings

A church is a people and not a place - although we do gather together regularly and when Nashville Road gets together on Sunday mornings it's welcoming, exciting and there's lots going on!

As a church we're a family and we gather each week to celebrate who Jesus is to us and what His life means. We sing, listen, talk, share with one another and serve.

People often have lots of questions about what it's like to come to a church gathering and so here's a few of those along with some answers that we hope are helpful:

What time does the gathering start and (more importantly!) when does it end?
Our gathering starts at 10:30am and is usually over by about 11:45am We start with coffee, juice and snacks in the lobby at about 10am.

Do I have to dress up?
Not unless you want to. We're pretty relaxed so wear what you're comfortable with. You'll see people wearing jeans, sweatshirts, T-shirts, again pretty casual and comfortable.

What if I have children or young people? Is there stuff for them too?
We have great Nursery care for infants from birth to 4 years of age, provided every Sunday at 10:45am.
Our nursery is located in a safe engaging dedicated suite with lots of toys, and is staffed by dedicated volunteers who love children and have been "Plan to Protect" certified to care for our youngest attenders!

There's also a great morning planned for kids in JK to Grade 1 (ages 4-7)
Each Sunday at 11am Jr. Kids Konnection is the place to laugh, learn and engage creatively with God's word!

For kids in Grade 2-5 (ages 7-12) we have a great morning full of activities and interaction around Jesus' teaching that your son or daughter won't forget! That's our SR Kids Konnection program and it begins right after some singing about halfway thru our gathering and that's when the kids will meet near the back of the gym and head to their program together.

You're most welcome to take a look at what your children will be up to and when you feel comfortable you can come back into the auditorium for the rest of the gathering.

You can also check out what our current teaching series is like from the Bible so you'll have an idea of what we're talking about when we gather.
