Have you ever had a conversation with someone that you’ve never forgotten? Maybe it was with someone you knew well or maybe a conversation that you had on a bench or at a Tim Horton’s with someone who sat there randomly?
It made such a distinct impression on you that years later - you can still picture it in your mind and the impact it had on your thinking or perspective.
Chances are you remember it because that conversation shaped you in some way. It opened your eyes and mind to something and began a different trajectory for how you thought and maybe how you approached life.
Jesus had many conversations with people that left an impression. For some it changed their lives forever. In many of those encounters Jesus addressed the often unspoken but big - “meaning of life” type questions …like - What is the world all about and why is it so messed up? Can anything make it right and where do we look for answers in the first place?
Whether it was a skeptic, a religion professor, a marginalized woman, sisters grieving the loss of their brother or a friend - these conversations with Jesus changed their lives.
Our series will look at John’s account of Jesus’ life and we’ll encounter Jesus in these conversations and see that He didn’t come to give answers to the big questions of life but to be the answer to those big questions.
He came as humanity's saviour - to do for us what we could not hope to do on our own.
You’re invited to encounter The Way, The Truth and The Life as we listen in on conversations with Jesus starting March 29th
