Christmas is a wonderfully glorious season!

The picture of angels proclaiming peace and announcing the birth of a child lying in a manger fills our minds with wonder!

We might also wonder - how will we get through a very “full” Christmas season! There’s so much to do, so many expectations to fulfill, places to go, people to see - so much to accomplish!

Yikes - can’t you feel the full weight just thinking about it?!

The word “glory” actually means “weight” and amidst all the beautiful and attention grabbing aspects of Christmas - at the centre is a weightiness, an importance, an awareness that points to something magical ... but not magic - something majestic!

Join in as we follow a rag-tag bunch of church members who set out to perform a Christmas play, and the director who tried his hardest to just keep it all together!

We’ll get a real and often hilarious closer look inside the lives of the director and the actors playing Mary, Joseph, a shepherd, and a wise man and see how each actor feels ill-equipped to portray their assigned characters. Which reminds us that those who were part of the original Christmas story were flawed and ill-equipped people for the weight of what was happening around them - just like the rest of us. Ultimately as we journey with them we’re reminded of the beautiful and miraculous glory of Christmas!

This is a great series that will encourage and help us prepare room for the good news of the birth of a child given to bring great joy to all humanity!

You’re invited to join the journey together ... and it begins December 1st!
