Most of us enjoy a good superhero movie. The battle between good and evil, the triumph of “the good guys” over their enemies—is a winning box-office formula! Even in real life, the idea of defeating enemies can be enticing.
For Christians, overcoming or defeating our “enemies” is a different concept. Jesus calls us to love our enemies, which can be very hard. This week Bob helped us look at the importance of actually loving those we might consider our enemies and the amazing things that can happen when we do.
