We all have the wonderful capacity to ... wonder! Sometimes they are small wonderings like - why do we call something a "building" when it's already built?! Sometimes we wonder about big things like - why am I here and what is my purpose?
We all see life through a window ... a frame of reference that helps explain what we experience in life. Faith is a frame of reference that we are often handed - which works well as children. But then life happens and we experience challenging circumstances that sow doubt in our childhood faith. Tragedy causes us to question if God is good and loving. Sin leads to guilt and shame. We wonder what God is like and if He likes us. So is there a frame of reference that can accommodate a grown up faith with real, honest wonderings?
Jesus came to say - yes, look at me and you'll know what God is like and that He likes you!
