You've probably heard the story of Jonah and the whale ... but did you know the story of Jonah and the worm? Jonah's story continues after the big fish part and it's actually less a fish story and more about the idols we have that are buried so deep and are so easily hidden from us that they distort our feelings and our thinking.
This week we’ll look at Jonah as an example of someone whose hidden idols drove his ideas and actions about who deserved grace and who didn't. When asked to leave his comfort zone to serve people who were different than him - Jonah reveals the extent to which idols can harm us and we'll contrast that with the true Jonah who not only risked His life to serve humanity - but gave it to save humanity.
